Come experience the adventure of a lifetime on board the Atlantis Submarine! Your adventure begins at the Shallow Draught where you will check in with the friendly Reservations Agent. Your quest begins when you board the shuttle vessel "Ocean Quest" as you sit back and enjoy the seven-minute scenic cruise to the Atlantis Submarine as the Atlantis crew gives an informative talk.

safety briefing. The vessels tie up alongside each other and you make the easy transfer from the Ocean Quest to the Atlantis Submarine. Dive!” You are now fully submerged in the aquamarine Caribbean Sea with large viewports all around, as curious exotic fish peek in at you and sea fans sway. Amazing experience, you can see ship wreck, loads of different fish types and amazing carribean blue sea, staff is helpful and they make sure you're safe. Be careful if you easily feel sick on the boat - because it swings a lot a lot a lot.

I LOVED the Atlantis Submarine trip! I had bought a ticket for myself and a friend who was scared to go and he still accompanied me to just wait for me on shore, but, after speaking to Co-Pilot Ross, he relieved his fears and he got on board and enjoyed the submarine very much, he did not feel claustrophobic and felt that God forbid anything would happen he could arrive to above water in a reasonable amount of time which was his biggest fear.
Prior to the trip I did my own research though to try to convince him to go and saw that they’re insured by an American company, and have plenty of safety precautions in place.
When we got there it was smooth sailing, not difficult to get in and out of the submarine and Ross definitely made our trip special. I’m so grateful I had a little faith and not only was it my 40th birthday, but it was Ross’ birthday too!
I can’t express enough gratitude for this once in a lifetime experience. Since I can’t swim, I always dreamed of seeing what the bottom of the ocean looked like, we got to see coral reef & a shipwreck and I highly recommend!

What a thrill diving in a submarine below the Caribbean Sea! We never knew how beautiful the ocean beneath the surface. The sea life was gorgeous, the underwater plants and vegetation very pretty, but diving over the ship wreck was the highlight for us! Great crew and personnel. Safety is paramount with these folks. “What’s this, what’s that” never bothered them. The crew was full of information. We went on the afternoon dive. We will go back and take the night time trip. The submarine experience is magnificent for kids! It might start them on a career in maritime sciences!!

First we must really start by thanking the wonderful Charlotte Moore at Atlantis Submarines. As we booked direct, dealing with staff like Charlotte makes the reservation, booking and any questions you may have easy.
We chose the pick up from our hotel option. At $10 USD per person return, this is great value and I'd very much recommend it.
The short boat ride to the submarine doesn't take long and is entertaining with both safety procedures and tied and tested jokes. You enter the submarine by climbing down the stairs backward so make sure you have sensible shoes on.
The actual trip lasted around an hour and we travelled down to 141 feet below sea level. Visibility isn't crystal clear through the portholes, but it doesn't matter - you're in a submarine 141 feet below! There's not that many places you can do that in the world; it's such a privilege to be there when you think about it.
I did wonder if it was going to be cold down there, but it wasn't. It's fine to wear the clothes that you see others wearing in photos onboard.
If your budget allows, I would very much recommend this amazing experience. After all, unless you're a submariner, It's not the sort of thing you do everyday!!

It is named after the mythical fabled lost city of Atlantis which is supposed to lie in seabed somewhere.
It was an awesome experience, the cruise itself, the seabed at 147 feet, the corals, the fish and the crew, the staff and everybody else.
Must recommend to all travelers to Barbados.

Something different and fun for everyone. Well organised trip along coral reef. There was remain of the ship and various sea creatures including small and big fish and a turtle. The crew was informative and funny and made the whole experience a fun. Highly recommended.

There was very little waiting time and our guides made sure everyone was safe and all the safety protocols were explained in a fun and informative way.
The submarine was pristine and we all felt safe and able to enjoy the experience.
