Mount Gay Visitor Centre
Le Mount Gay Vistor Center où vous découvrirez l'histoire et l'artisanat du rhum Mount Gay. La dégustation débutera avec un punch au rhum gratuit que vous pourrez déguster pendant que votre hôte de marque vous emmènera à travers le musée hérité qui offre aux visiteurs un aperçu fascinant de l'illustre histoire du Mount Gay Rum et de l'île de la Barbade.
De là, vous verrez un court métrage qui fournira encore plus d'informations sur Mount Gay et sa production de rhum. Après le court métrage, vous serez conduit à la salle de dégustation où vous pourrez profiter d'une dégustation de 3 rhums Mount Gay. Votre hôte vous guidera tout au long de la dégustation en expliquant les différences entre chaque rhum que vous goûtez.
Après la dégustation, vous profiterez d'un déjeuner traditionnel Bajan avec des stations de restauration en direct. Vous aurez également le temps de visiter la boutique de cadeaux où vous pourrez acheter des bouteilles, des cadeaux ou des souvenirs pour vous-même. Enjoyable and entertaining rum tour with food

The tour was memorable and informative. The transport came when arranged and the food afterwards was lovely. The tasting part was most enjoyable and the staff made it really funny too. Cocktails on arrival and a soft drink complimentary with the meal although you could purchase whatever you wanted. The shop afterwards was reasonable value too.

The guide was awesome. He was funny and very informative. The film was short and interesting. It definitely brought everything home from what the guide explained to us earlier. I love that this year Master blender is a woman for the first time. Not sure what took Mount Gay so long, but kudos to them for recognizing brilliance. The food was very good. Dessert was a pleasant surprise. Wasn't expecting it. I'm not much of a drinker, but tasting the different rums were cool too.

From start to finish it was a brilliant experience. Tina our guide was amazing, she was fun, knowledgable and we learned a lot about the history of mount gay and the different rums. The lunch was incredible full of flavour and plenty. The gift shop had everything you needed, gifts for all to bring home at reasonable prices. A great time

Barbadians like rum like Kentuckians like bourbon. Enjoyed the history of Mount Gay, tastings, especially the XO, and local lunch which was delightful. You won’t be disappointed!

This tour is very educational and entertaining. Our guide was absolutely amazing. We also visited the caves and the guide there was also extremely helpful. I would definitely do this again.

A great evening was had by all. Not too many people , very informative and friendly. Tasting followed by Cocktail making and food. Transportation was included in the cost. Highly recommended this too all. Even if your not a massive Rum drinker.

The tour was superb. Our guide was very knowledgeable, personable and kept the group engaged. I selected the vegan meal option, but was unable to eat. My only disappointment.

There is no one to welcome you when you arrive, nor do you get any instructions on where to go. You just follow the others & hopefully stand in the right queue to get your ticket. Tour guide was quick, eloquent & to the point, which was good. You first receive 1 welcome rum punch drink, then you will receive 4 shots of different aged rums.
The lunch potions are meager. 1 chicken piece is cut up to make 2 more pieces. Seems quite budgeted. There is no communication to let you know that your shuttle is waiting for you after lunch. There is no goodbye nor any thank you afterwards. I really feel this rum tasting tour has a lot of potential, it just needs some improvements here & there.
