Cherry Tree Hill
Cherry Tree Hill is eight hundred and fifty (850) ft above sea level and is a part of St. Nicholas Abbey plantation. Actually due to the size of the St. Nicholas Abbey property, Cherry Tree Hill actually borders, St.Peter and St. Andrew. Many years ago, the drive on either side to get to it was flanked by cherry trees, thus the reason for its name; however these were replaced with mahogany trees which now line the road. The trees were planted in celebration of the signing of The Treaty of Paris in 1763

Best snorkeling ever!
Michelle_M, 10-09-2022
This was an awesome experience! It included a lot, and we saw a lot, so it was a great value. The snorkeling was incredible! A must-do. Note: if you are looking for a booze cruise, this is not it. But so worth it.
Barbados city tour and turtle swim

We have a wonderful guide Steven, who was with us from beginning to end. Stop at sights he thought we would enjoy, and went out of his way to find bananas for me because our hotel never has them.

Loved the nature park and the monkeys.

The highlight was the swim with the turtles.

I would definitely recommend this tour.
Experience Beautiful Barbados both Land & Sea

Lisa was absolutely amazing!! She was professional, prompt, and very knowledgeable about her island. She gave us so much information and tips that we may consider moving here. My wife and I were debating whether we should book the tour but we have zero regrets that we did. It was the perfect way to experience both the land and sea of Barbados. We can’t pick a favourite part of the trip since all of it was beautiful and that’s thanks to our tour guide. We forgot the names of the boat captains on Tranquility tours where we did the swimming with turtles; but I’d like to point out that both my wife & I are non-swimmers and these guys were so patient and accommodating that we didn’t miss our opportunity. They used floatation devices and carried us around to see the fish, shipwreck, and turtles. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

We did a private tour. Our guide Gwarmie (please excuse spelling) was brilliant. He made the tour. He knew his history and geography in detail which I loved and also new about the film, pop stars and celebs which our teenage kids loved. He went out of his way to show us the things that really interested us. We told him how much we loved Bajan music which played in between chats. Amazingly at the end of the tour he gave my daughters a flash drive with the music. Gwarmie was the star of the tour but we also loved the monkey feeding and of course the turtles which were so close in the sea.
This is the best tour I’ve been on with best guide.
Thank you.
Amazing tour

Ryan was super friendly and provided us with so many fun facts as we drove around the island. Bathsheba was absolutely beautiful and made a great lunch stop. The monkeys and other wildlife were a joy to watch. Major photo opportunities.
Monkeys and turtles and rays. Oh my!

Lisa was an excellent tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable and really helped us appreciate the local history and culture of Barbados.
The animal preserve was an amazing place to visit. The green monkeys were adorable.
Thinking it couldn’t get any better, swimming with sea turtles, spotted eagle rays and exploring shipwrecks was the perfect ending.
Great Day!

Best full island excursion experience, highly recommended
Jonathan_P, 27-11-2022
We absolutely LOVED this excursion! It was truly a perfect day. Lisa was our driver for the island tour and she was extremely knowledgeable and fun, with just the right amount of sass for our group. Although the wildlife sanctuary was amazing, temper your expectations. I fully believed I was legit going to feed and play with monkeys which was not the case. We were told not to touch, tease, or feed the monkeys directly. I mean after all, they are wild animals I suppose. Lol That said, it was a lot of fun and absolutely beautiful. We made sure to hike up the trail to an old lookout tower and it had a breathtaking view of the island. Lunch with the locals was fantastic! My husband had the flying fish and I had the island chicken. All I can say is yum! Last was the snorkeling with turtles and exploring the shipwreck. Our captain and crew were awesome! I unfortunately forgot their names through all the excitement but they went above and beyond. Based on the previous week, they took us to a more isolated area to “guarantee” we saw some turtles and we did! We saw 3-4 babies, 1 adult, a stingray, and some whitefish. I was so disappointed I forgot my waterproof phone case. The shipwreck was even more impressive than the turtles in my opinion. It was 40ft down but it looked like you could just stretch out and touch it and there were tons of schools of vibrant fish. Again they were extremely knowledgeable and Tons of FUN. We felt this was an absolutely perfect excursion and very highly recommended this trip.
Highly recommended.

Fantastic day out. The wildlife reserve was a particular high with monkeys and lots more. Our guide, Gline was super knowledgable and filled the journey between locations with lots of interesting facts about the island. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Interesting and fun day out by land and sea
Rachel_F, 06-12-2022
Wonderful day out to see the Barbadian monkeys, multiple tortoise, a caiman and loads of other animals. Followed by a lovely lunch of flying fish or chicken with macaroni pie and salad, then a nice drive across the east coast which is stunning and some brilliant photo opportunities. Ended the day on Tranquility cruises for snorkel over a ship wreck and to see turtles. This was amazing, I’m nervous in open water but the guides are so professional and follow high standards of safety plus they are really friendly. Our driver Winston was very knowledgeable about Barbados’ history and geography and made the trip even better. Would recommend this trip
